OVERVIEW
The Course introduces Value Engineering (VE) and progresses into; studying Frame work of application area in a project, Function Analysis where the functional needs and constraints are expressed, Creative Phase where the project team is being inspired, Evaluation Phase where project decisions are made, and Planning & Reporting phases where the results are communicated. The aim of the Course is to deliver effective skills needed for understanding and executing VE in projects.
COURSE CONTENT
The program consists of seven modules,

⦁ Module 2: Framework for applying Value Engineering,
⦁ Module 3: Function Analysis Phase,
⦁ Module 4: Creative Phase,
⦁ Module 5: Evaluation Phase,
⦁ Module 6: Planning Phase,
⦁ Module 7: Reporting Phase.
COURSE LENGTH
There is no prescribed duration of the Course. However, Two hours per day study will normally complete the Course in 3 months. However, the duration is directly depend on the time spent and effort given to studies.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
⦁ English Pass in IGCSE, and
IGCSE or similar with 6 subjects including Mathematics, and
An Engineering or Quantity Surveying Qualification, or
⦁ 3 years experience as a Quantity Surveyor or an Engineer, or
⦁ 5 years experience in an Engineering office, or
⦁ 4 years experience in a supervisory level in Construction,.
