OVERVIEW
The Course is designed to provide knowledge, skills, and a supplementary qualification to a career in construction management or quantity surveying. In addition to the key site measurement skills under CESMM, other areas of study include; BOQ preparation, Claims analysis, review and recommendation. The program includes real life examples to provide participants with practical knowledge of the site measurement field pursuant to CESMM.
COURSE CONTENT
The program consists of seven modules,
Module 1: Introduction to Site Measurements,
Module 2: General Principles,
Module 3: Coding and Numbering,
Module 4: Bills of Quantities,
Module 5: Method Related Charges,
Module 6: Site Measurements,
Module 7: Work Classifications.
COURSE LENGTH
There is no prescribed duration of the Course. However, Two hours per day study will normally complete the Course in 3 months. However, the duration is directly depend on the time spent and effort given to studies.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
⦁ English Pass in IGCSE, and
IGCSE or similar with 6 subjects including Mathematics, and
A Quantity Surveying or Cost Engineering Qualification, or
⦁ 3 years experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Cost Engineer, or
⦁ 5 years experience in a Cost Engineering office.
Shown above are the minimum requirements to follow this Course. However, a Bachelors Degree will be desirable to follow the course at ease. Those who have differing qualifications and experience shall write to, registrar@academed.org, for exemptions or clearing any doubts prior to applying.
